Writer's picture: Mark WarrenMark Warren

Hip-Hip Hooray it is Peanut Butter day!! When Marcellus Gilmore Edson first patented peanut butter in 1884, he probably didn’t realize it would become a taste sensation that would sweep the nation. Peanut butter is versatile. You have the option of spreading it on something like a sandwich or on celey, baking it in cookies or brownies, mixing it with noodles for a pad thai peanut butter sauce, or turning it into a delicious drizzle over ice cream, just to name a few. Seriously, the options are endless and as a family we love it and eat it often. National Peanut Butter Day is a delightful celebration dedicated to one of the most beloved spreads in the world. This creamy and nutty delight has been a staple in households for generations. On this special day, peanut butter enthusiasts come together to enjoy their favorite treats and perhaps discover new and exciting ways to savor this classic spread. Just as we come together to discover this week's 5 Friday Finds.....

  1. Hi, I'm a Twin-Dad. You may remember me from such greats as "Repeating Myself" and "Arguing over Shoes" and "Stepping on Cereal."

  2. The cost of one snow day for a working parent is apparently 800 Robux in bribery to have silence just for one call while working remotely!!

  3. [1 hour 22 minutes into a movie] Twins: Can we watch a different movie? We don’t like this one that much!!

  4. My job as a Twin dad on a snow day was to look out the window every half hour and say "it's still coming down" and get no response from any family member!!

  5. When role playing with twins on a snow day you probably should not teach them to pull mom’s hair while yelling “this is Spartan territory” I know this now!!
