This Thanksgiving I am grateful to be a dad of superb twins. All at the blessing of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Thanksgiving is a special time as it allows us to reflect and involves my love language: Food!! Even when cooking I try to perfect everything. That reminds me of something to pass down to you both. You need to strive to be better than everyone else. I didn't say you needed to be better than everyone else. But you must try. That's what character is: It's in the trying!! No matter what happens, no matter where you go, no matter what you do, I’m always gonna be behind you. Always and always and always. It's part of my job to make sure that you don't grow up an imbecile. It's bad for the world. What is not bad for the world is a little humor, even between family. Therefore, thank you for the 5 slapstick finds this week.....
1. In preparation for guests yesterday the twins just ate homemade frosting while making signs that say "NO licking plates ALLOWED! NO Farting @ the Table!! If you have to Burp, Don’t!!”
2. You know what I'm thankful for every Holiday?? Having twins that all of a sudden are "tired" when I've had enough of visiting my family!!
3. This Thanksgiving I cut the Twins' desserts into shapes of carrots + broccoli so they could eat their vegetables!!
4. The twins totally caught me kicking crumbs under the fridge while cooking. I had to bribe them with ice cream, so they didn't tell mom. This wasn't in the parenting books!!
5. Make a Christmas "thankful tree" so you can burst a blood vessel waiting for twins to come up with something to write on a paper leaf, on the day you give thanks!!
