Must admit being a father of twins is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed. Your mom certainly did not marry me for my soft side or gentleness. However, you two keep teaching me I may not be as fearless as thought worrying about your safety or trying not to screw up as a dad. Nonetheless, I will let him lead and be joyful on the journey. In the meantime share some joy in our 5 fun finds we learned as twin parents this week.....
1. Often I hear, "You knew what you were getting into when you had children”
Did I? Did I know that I’d be arguing with twins that we don’t lick people’s faces?
DID I KNOW THAT?
2. Great British Bake Off but you pair every contestant with twin 3-year-olds who demand to help!!
3. Woke up, saw the Twins’ shadow each morning, and predicted 7 more cups of coffee.
4. Most of my time as a Dad has been spent answering questions with "maybe tomorrow."
5. This morning, Friday which every adult looks forward to you think you’re going to have a normal day. Then suddenly the twins announce they only walk backwards!! YAY!!
