Sand, sun, and most of all family fun!! The beach always brings me back to a reminder though as everyone is so worried about appearance. “The Sneetches”
The lesson: Accept others even if they’re different. In this tale of two beach-dwelling bird species, Dr. Seuss makes a great point to show us how appearances don’t matter. Not one bit! The star-bellied Sneetches don’t get along with the other Sneetches because they think they’re so much better with their fancy stars. After a sort of star-creating counterfeit operation ensues with a great number of mix-ups, “The Sneetches” concludes with a philosophical nugget we can all take home: “The day they decided that Sneetches are Sneetches. And no kind of Sneetch is the best on the beaches.” What a great reminder that we are all human and should accept others as Christ does. Hopefully anyone reading this will accept the following 5 funny nuggets the Warren twins revealed to us this week.....
1. Speaking of appearance the twins we're watching Shrek earlier this week and at the moment when Fiona turned from a woman into an ogre, they both said "now she's a mom."
2. DADS of YOUNG BOYS: what’s up with the %^&* rocks … Every pocket of clothing is stuffed with rocks. Instead of snowball fights are we having rock fights??
3. It’s the last month of school, here are 99 activities in the middle of the day parents need to attend. -every school
4. The twins were pretty pissed when they learned that their new beach water shoes weren’t for walking on the water but in it!!
5. Hanging out with other twin parents is basically just trying to one up each other on how tired you are!!
