Nicknames are a fascinating feature of friendship. We use them to praise and complement our friends in a humorous way. You should start thinking of nice names for your brother right now. Although nicknames point outwardly, they are often when used with the best of friends worn with a badge of honor. They are not just silly words used while goofing around. They do serve a purpose. Every friend deserves a good nickname that will be appropriate to use in the presence of others to show a genuine connection. To be honest we spelled your names uniquely so we could have My and Ry! Hence the #adventuresofmyandry
Mr. Red loves creatively calling you Myker and Ryles! We look forward to the nicknames you will have for one another. You both are so creative, and it is fun to see and hear. Thank you for the 5 finds this week that brought smiles to us in a busy week!
1. What is it like to be a twin parent? Imagine you are straining to carry every single grocery bag, and someone tosses you a priceless vase. Also, the car is rolling down the hill with no one in it??
2. My kids could get a lollipop from the top of Mt. Fuji, but a pair of socks from their drawer, that’s too difficult!!
3. I couldn’t find the Nutella this morning, so I asked one of the twins if he had seen it. He brought it to school. It’s in his locker. It’s for emergencies!!
4. Twin 4-yr-olds: Dad, we don’t need to hold the railing of the escalator.
Me: OK!
Twins: We are real men now!!
Me: ……………………
5. Just know it's totally normal if I have flashbacks of the time one twin rode their bike over the other twin!!
