1. Dear readers, this week the twins ate an entire pancake at a restaurant like normal kids, instead of raccoons discovering treasure in a garbage can!!
2. The CDC would like to remind parents that socks and sandals are never ok. Don’t start it at a young age.
3. Let’s get married and have twins so instead of using our years of education to change the world we can be butlers to tiny people who give demands!!
4. My love for the twins is never less evident to them than when they are begging me to join them in the freezing ocean or a cold swimming pool.
5. You won't believe how much of parenting is just me being a hype man at meal times. “You gotta try these sweet potatoes! They’re off the chainn!” “If you finish your milk, you will be the strongest kids EVER!!!
Thank you Lord for giving me a chance to be a father. It is fun, hectic, challenging, and rewarding all at once. Thank you boys for letting me be a dad and thank you mom for doing life with me. I am truly blessed and as Father’s Day approaches I still have to pinch myself that the Lord trusted me with stellar twins and a great Godly woman. Thank you to all my mentors and coaches for ensuring I made something with my life and my mom for pulling double duty as a mother and father. The Lord and my mom are the true heroes. Lastly, thank you to my dad for never being around. You don’t realize it until later in life, but I am the father I am because of it. For that I am thankful. At times I may not know what I am doing, but I am present, I do try to be everything I always imagined a father would be and then some.
