Ephesians 5:28
In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
Although my kids hold a very special place in my heart. Very special. However, matter how cute, how much they look like me, or how awesome they are, my wife comes first. Until recently, I thought this was a common mindset. Without being a good husband (far from a perfect husband) first, I am not able to be a good father to them. Each day I choose to put on my ring no matter where I wake up in the world. My marriage is a priority and it is my duty to fulfill being a husband first. When I uphold this commitment as a husband then I am capable of being the best father possible. Bopys your mom is our queen and I hope you will see how to value your spouse through my display. Charlotte you are a bright, beautiful, and amazing woman. Love and miss you!
1. Be careful if you have a smart car that can be turned on by a keyless remote or your phone. 2 yo twin boys will figure it out and you will come down stairs to get a glass of water and think the car is driving itself.
2. It takes what 2 gallons of paint for 1 room, or a single packet of ketchup for a toddler to paint an entire house.
3. Warning: I am not ignoring anyone: I just can’t use my phone right now; the twins typed the wrong password 200 times so my iPhone won’t be unlocked until sometime next year.
4. So, we give the boys an M & M for using the “real toilet.” If one does and one does not go only 1 gets an M & M. Well, one did not go and did not get a reward. As we were leaving the bathroom he rips off his pants and pull-ups and then makes a farting sound. Ok dad, M & M?
5. Both boys dropped a wrapper on the floor this week. I told them to go put it where it belongs. 1 went to and put it in the trash. The other went and put it in mom’s purse!
